Thoughts from Pastor Rich
My hope in sharing these thoughts is to encourage the church to actually BE the church of Jesus Christ! Look around you! It seems the world is going to hell in a hand basket. But God has equipped His church with a weapon that avails because it involves HIM in our time and point of need. The church, especially in these last days has got to PRAY! And we can't afford to utter timid, lifeless pleas thrown up with little or no urgency. If we are desperate for God to answer we have to pray with passion, with fervor, with fire!
E.M. Bounds has written, "Prayer ascends by fire. Flame gives prayer access as well as wings, acceptance as well as energy. There is no incense without fire; no prayer without flame!"
Let the church rise to offer God a unified, fiery, passionate hearts' cry that souls are saved, strongholds toppled, families strengthened, and the Lord's Presence be tangible, even visible in our midst (Ezekiel 27:26-27).

True Spirituality
We often hear someone described as a "spiritual person", but what does that really mean?
True spirituality is belief in Jesus Christ, the only Begotten Son of God and entering into a love relationship in which we both give love and receive love from the Triune God. The love we receive, we pour out to others by the power of the Holy Spirit given to us when we first believe. This love is not just an emotional love, but a practical love. Jesus told his disciples, “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you” (John 14:15-17). Keeping God’s commandments are loving God and others in His Name. We cannot do this on our own and Jesus' disciples are a perfect example of not being able to do what Jesus asked of them before receiving the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and the bold, empowered love for Christ and others displayed after being filled with the Holy Spirit.
Have you received Christ as Savior?
If yes, I encourage you to live your life empowered by the Holy Spirit that has been given to you!
If no, please ask Him into your heart today!
Pastor Rich and I are available to meet with you and pray with you. We will call on the Lord together!
